What is an ecosystem?

        An ecosystem is a complex of the biological community (such as plants, animals, microbes etc) and the non-living factors (physical and chemical).

        For example, a pond, a forest, an estuary, a grassland are called ecosystem. In a pond, fish, frog, grass, plants, shrups are the biological community and water, stones, air, soil are the abiotic factors, that forms an ecosystem.
