Editorial

Ever increasing human population and mushrooming of various industries, automobiles certainly damage our environment and cause problems to mankind, and indirectly effect to economic slow down. The recent global environmental issues such as global warming, climate change, CO2 increase in the atmosphere, sea level rising, the loss of biodiversity etc., are some of the important key issues that need world nation's immediate attention to frame strategies to conserve and manage the environment. Because of that, the developed countries (G8 Nations) jointly declared a convention and issued guidelines under "Kyoto Protocol" to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. By following that, all developing countries have framed appropriate plan/programme/solution to address various environmental problems in order to achieve better sustainable development and to create healthy un-polluted environment for all mankind.
